The show featured Most Reverent Fulton J. Sheen, the Roman Catholic Auxiliary Bishop of New York City, offering anecdotes and moral lessons. Many of the talks were about the evils of the Communist form of government.

Bishop Sheen used a blackboard in his talks (this was long before the days of any sort of video projection), and he referred constantly to the "angel" who cleaned off his blackboard. Of course, this was simply a cut away to Sheen speaking in a different corner of the studio while a stagehand erased the blackboard. See more
