Last Flight and also first and last heist.

The only other German crime flick that could match this one is YEAR OF THE CAT, made in 1986, a real must see, terrific material which the US industry could rarely provide, or with a predictable ending for silly and sissy audiences. This feature I talk about now could have never been made for the big screen, the frame is not adequate for this, but could have easily been a mini TV show, and it nearly is after all. A group of former fight pilots in the German Air Force - Luftwaffe, after being discharged, pull a heist during a huge aerial meeting which the gross in cash is several millions marks. There are four of them, the heist goes right but issues appear rapidly afterwards concerning the loot. It was decided to keep the bullion for six months before spending it, but the money sharing will lead our robbers to their own doom. A topic already spoken about but this one is breathtaking despite the lack of action sequences. Excellent characters depiction and study, far, very far from US fashion standards.
