I knew just from the title that this would be one of the favorites to win Best Picture. After seeing it, I couldn't have hoped for more. Ice-T gives a riveting performance as a complex hardcore gangster reminiscent of his role in Trespass and Ricochet. He is complemented by the unparallelled skills of Warwick Davis. Just to name a few memorable lines, " a friend with weed is a friend indeed," and "If I don't get my schillings, there's gonna be some killings." In one scene Ice-T shows his great theatric range, " we rappin about shootin ya homey in his face and slappin yo bitch,"...what a performance. To top it off, the Leprechaun smokes weed with Ice-T and busts out a tight freestyle in the final scene.."lep in the hood, up to no good." ....A must see!
