This is the first widescreen formatted movie of Turkish cinema, 15 May 2006

Blockbuster movie of the year 1960 in Turkey. This movie made Zeynep Degirmencioglu as a child star for 15 years!! And this is the very first movie which shot in 2.35:1 (widescreen) format in Yesilcam (Greenwood - Turkish cinema temple :)) The story is very simple, sad and touching. 14 sequels made for "Aysecik" until 1971. Zeynep Degirmencioglu's father Hamdi Degirmencioglu wrote the screenplay and the 60's most popular actress Muhterem Nur played the mother of Aysecik. Great director Memduh Ün was the best choice for the project. Still likable and worth watching, especially for children... ooppps for whole family.
