Trivia:
Within Rhodan's workshop there contains some trivial sculptures made by staff at Perfect Entertainment. Among the bust of Rhodan himself, there is an Elven Queen, referencing the 2nd Discworld Game, a single large Pythonesque foot and a statue of Thomas Fletcher Waghorn replicating the real world statue that stands in Chatham, Kent, hometown of one of the artists on the project. When Malachite is first encountered here, he is sitting in the position of Rodin's 'The Thinker' something that was difficult to carry off considering Malachites gainly body structure and his unfeasibly long forearms. more

Technically lousy., 28 March 2005

This game has some pretty serious technical flaws. The character animations are simple loops, which often don't loop smoothly. The frame rate is low in all the animations except Lewton's, and the characters have a tendency to snap back to their static frame when they're not talking. But I like it.

The game's plot transcends all these technical flaws to make for quite a pleasant experience, with definite addiction factor ;) The film noir style is great, and works surprisingly well with the Ankh Morpork atmosphere.

Some fiendish puzzles, the odd bit of screen sweeping, and a very neat twist at the end. Recommended for Discworld fans. Others might find it just a little too tedious.
