Terrific start for the best animated series ever

Ah, the beginning of Pokemon. Could it possibly have been better? I think not. Review by episode:

Pokemon! I Choose You (10/10) One of the very best. This one sets the story in motion and introduces Ash, Pikachu, and their journey. It had some very humorous scenes relating to Ash's inexperience and probably the most dramatic scene Pokemon ever saw in Ash's speech to the Spearow.

Pokemon! Emergency (10/10) The second one is equally good, introducing Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny. Not to mention the introduction of Team Rocket. Is it just me, or did they seem more confident in this episode? Oh well. This one pushed the storyline wonderfully.

Ash Catches A Pokemon (10/10) Not much in way of story line, but one of the more humorous episodes to be sure. Misty's phobia of bugs is a terrific set up. I can't help smiling at the scene where Pikachu and Caterpie converse at night. And then, of course, this is the first episode which hints at Misty's love for Ash.

Overall (10/10) Definitely a must own for Pokemon fans. If you haven't seen the series yet, this is the one to see first.
