Again only comics I’ve bought that were published in 2010. If you think I’ve missed something please let me know in the comments section below, after all this is only mine and Phil’s opinions. I’m always open to trying new things… comics, I mean comics!
1: Uncanny X-Force | Marvel | W: Rick Remender | A: Jerome Opena
Only 3 issues in an this series is looking like the best X-Men series currently being published, and that’s not to say the titles by Fraction, Gillen, Carey, and David aren’t good, it’s just that Uncanny X-Force has that certain something that makes it stand out. It’s a combination of the tight, fast paced writing of Remender, the amazing art by Opena and White, and lots of little touches that the creators add that make it a perfect comic.

The Secret Avengers are to gain a new team member in the upcoming sixth issue of the new ongoing series. The new addition will join in the wake of Nova's new reserve status on the team following the conclusion of the series' first arc. It's been called the Cannes of genre cinema an the first wave of programming has been announced for Sitges 2010, a lineup featuring the best in genre film of all types from all around the globe. Here's the full announcement!
The Shining celebrates its 30th anniversary and the 43rd Sitges - International Fantasy Film Festival of Catalonia, that will take place from 7 to 17 October, would like pay homage to it through the image for this year's official poster. The Shining (1980), by Stanley Kubrick, is one of the few undoubtedly classic horror films that still holds up with the passage of time, going beyond the genre and the director himself.
