The Smurfs are little blue creatures that live in mushroom houses in a forest inhabited mainly by their own kind. The smurfs average daily routine is attempting to avoid Gargomel, an evil man who wants to kill our little blue friends.
The everyday life of Arnold, a 4th-grader in a nameless city that resembles Brooklyn, New York, who lives in a multi-racial boarding house with his grandparents and a motley assortment of neighbors and friends.

This was a decent 80s version of the original. The plots may have been a bit sillier, but the animation was far superior to the original, no doubt about that. While the look of the original is nostalgic and the artwork is pretty good, the 80s version moved less rigidly and looked much less like a comic book.
