In one of his first major roles, Ben Affleck stars as a young teen whose concern for the happiness of his divorced mother (Madeline Kahn) leads to a hilarious scheme to find "Mr. Right." He and his friend Melanie secretely place a personals ad on behalf of his mother. After receiving many responses from "Mr. Wrongs", their challengs is to arrange a date for Mom with "Mr. Right".
