A powerful drama written & directed by Reza Allamehzadeh. This is the story of several Iranian families who have flee Iran in the early days of 1979 Islamic revolution seeking asylum in Europe and USA. The place they are staying is a modest hotel in Turkey called "Hotel Astoria". The movie shows the hardship and very sad days that many Iranian families went trough. thumbs Up!!

"The Guests of Hotel Astoria" was received very well in many film festivals such as Venice, Moscow, Chicago and Montreal (1989).

Staring academy award nominee Shohreh Aghdashlou, Hooshang Tozih, Vida Ghahremani, Kamran Nozad.
