Storyline
Arun Verma lives in India along with his widower dad, Hiralal. He gets married to Kaajal mainly due to the fact that Hiralal wants grandchildren to lighten up his life. When Kaajal fails to conceive, Hiralal is disappointed and asks Arun to re-marry, but Arun is reluctant. Arun and his friend, Jumbo, leave for a trip to Nepal, and in their absence, Hiralal has a heart attack, and is looked after by Kaajal. When Arun gets the news he hastens home to find his dad recuperating and insisting that Kaajal is now his daughter as well as his daughter-in-law, and asks Arun to adopt a child instead of re-marrying. Arun and Kaajal adopt a male child and also find a nanny named Manisha for him. Then chaos and uncertainty descends on Kaajal's world as she finds that Arun is having an affair with Manisha - who it seems is more than just a nanny for their foster son. Gharwali Baharwali is a good comedy film! Anil Kapoor is fantastic! Raveena Tandon is good as usual. Rambha has improved on her acting alot.
It's about Kajal (Raveena Tandon),Arun (Anil Kapoor) and Arun's father (Kader Khan) living together and Arun's father wants Kajal and Arun to have kids but then they learn that Kajal can't conceive. Arun's father keeps on telling him to find another wife but Arun doesn't want to. Arun goes to Nepal with his brother Jumbo and Arun rescues a girl's goat and that girl turns out to be Manisha (Rambha). According to the film whoever rescues a Nepalese girl's goat she must get married to. Arun doesn't know that but Jumbo does after he finds out from a nepali person. Somehow Manisha and Arun get married and Jumbo has to tell Arun that he's married to Manisha! Arun comes to love Manisha. Arun returns home to Kajal and Arun's father changes his mind about Arun getting another wife and Arun feels really bad. A few months later he finds out that Manisha is having a baby. Arun is over the moon. She comes to meet Arun and she has her baby and gives it to Kajal and Arun without Kajal and Arun's father knowing that the baby is Arun and Manisha's. A few years later Arun's father finds out about Manisha. How does he react? Does he tell Kajal? Watch Gharwali Baharwali to find out.
