TV Land Gives ‘The Exes’ 12 More Episodes in Season 4

5 September 2014 1:34 PM, PDT | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

TV Land has ordered an additional 12 episodes of original sitcom “The Exes” for its upcoming fourth season.

The announcement ups “The Exes’” fourth season episode count from 12 to 24, the first of which will premiere in November alongside “Hot in Cleveland’s” sixth season premiere. Series regulars Donald Faison, Wayne Knight, David Alan Basche, Kelly Stables and Kristen Johnson are set for the additional episodes, as is recurring guest star Leah Remini.

“Everything we’ve seen from the upcoming season of ‘The Exes’ is telling us it’s going to be the best one yet,” said TV Land president Larry W. Jones. “Last week, we crossed the 50th episode threshold, and we thought, ‘these episodes are so good, let’s keep them going!’”

TV Land also recently renewed “The Soul Man” for a fourth season. Starring Cedric “The Entertainer” and Niecy Nash, the new season is set to premiere in 2015. In July, »

Transformers: Age Of Extinction review

Michael Bay returns to the Transformers franchise with the longer, louder Age Of Extinction. Here’s Ryan’s review...

In terms of robots falling apart and explosions, Michael Bay set himself a high bar with 2011‘s Transformers: Dark Of The Moon. So much so that Bay stated that he wouldn’t make another one - just as he did after he shot the first sequel, Revenge Of The Fallen in 2009. But having made his low-key, low-budget passion project (the $26m action caper Pain & Gain, starring The Rock), the blockbuster auteur found himself creatively refreshed enough to make yet another Transformers flick.

The result is Age Of Extinction: a film somehow louder, more violent and, mind-bogglingly, even longer than its predecessor (the duration’s 165 minutes). Its story picks up a year or so after Dark Of The Moon and its climactic battle in Chicago, in which the entire city was destroyed by warring Autobots, »

5 Terribly Hilarious Foes We Hope Never Appear on Arrow

25 March 2014 3:00 PM, PDT | GeekTyrant | See recent GeekTyrant news »

Arrow is a fantastic show and is currently my favorite superhero series of all time. I recently looked into the roots of Green Arrow to try and predict villains who could appear in Season 3 of the show. What I found instead were an insane list of idiotic foes that rival even some of the worst Batman and Superman villains. I guess that's what happens when you spend so long as a second tier hero. I hope these characters never appear in any episode of Arrow, but if they did, I envisioned how it would go down.

Titus Flagsmith Aka "The Flag"

Background: It would seem that you just weren't a superhero in the late 40's unless you battled a pirate at one point.. Aquaman battled Black Jack, and Batman managed to find Black Beard and Psycho Pirate living in Gotham, so it likely came as no surprise to Oliver when »
