Touchstone signs Andries

Laurence Andries has inked a one-year, seven-figure overall deal with Touchstone Television with an option for a second year. Under the pact, Andries, a co-executive producer on Touchstone's ABC drama Alias, will continue on the show as executive producer next season while developing new projects for the studio. Andries was a co-executive producer on NBC's praised drama Boomtown. He also was a supervising producer on Alan Ball's critically acclaimed HBO drama Six Feet Under for two seasons. His series credits also include The Hoop Life and Millennium. Andries, who is doing a rewrite on Universal Pictures' Society Cab for Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman's Playtone, is repped by UTA and attorney Alan Hergott. »
