Michi, a high school teacher, has an affair with Hikaru, one of her students. Although the pair try to conceal their relationship, co-workers and family members begin to notice something is wrong. In addition to this, young Hikaru begins to suspect, although she says she loves him, that Michi is more interested in manipulating him to suit her whims.
