Rare but flabby flick

I took it because it was from Gerald Mayer, the film maker of THE MARAUDERS and some other TV stuff. Here you have Kevin Mc Carthy as the lead, a sort of gumshoe in South Africa, in search of diamonds. It sometimes hesitates between adventure yarn and crime movie. We never know what it is in the end. You find here Andre Morell, escaped from Hammer film productions. Talkative but not destined to the garbage can however. I did not check out, but I presume it was made on locations. Check yourself if you wish. I don't remember where this feature came from, maybe a duplicate from a 16mm print, bootlegged stuff...Who knows? I am not surprised that no one has commented it yet.

Why not, if you dare. It won't kill you.
