What can one say about the food loving ninja boy, with the ninja training and the rough (dead) grandfather, his buddy turned enemy (hayate), his new found family (miss okubo)and his new high school (omyo-ku).Kabamaru tries to become accustomed to his new environment, a typical posh Japanese high school. But there are more sinister things than neurotic teachers, bullies, stars,ninja-cooks and pageant queens, in what is the funniest anime ever made. In fact, Kabamaru gets caught up in a sinister plot, including a bitter and ancient strife, between the headmasters of two rival schools, and the schools themselves. Kabamaru also stumbles into high school power-plays, with an undercover free-mason-type organization trying to manipulate him, into helping them into power. One of the things that make kabamaru special, are the colorful secondary characters, like maejima, kaoru(the high school beauty), the ninja-chef with the incredible noodle-making skills, the lovelorn neurotic teacher, the rival grandmothers, Hayate, and finally, grandpa himself, who appears in a series of flashbacks. Kabamarus exploits also make a huge part of the cartoon funny. You shall see Kabamaru consuming tons of food (in a really funny way), accidentally insulting just about everyone, and beating up everyone who intends to harm his two great love, his food and mai. Another thing is the surreal final episode, and if you know Greek, you should opt for the Greek versions, where the dubbing is just hilarious
trivia: In the last episode, the ball that goes in orbit, destroys the spaceship of Cpt Harlock
