Plot Summary

Cartoon series featuring the out-of-ring escapades of the stars of the World Wrestling Federation. Hulk Hogan and Mean Gene Okerlund led the "face," or good guys, team (which included Andre the Giant, Hillbilly Jim, Jimmy Snuka, Junkyard Dog, Tito Santana, Wendi Richter and Captain Lou Albano); while Rowdy Roddy Piper and his team of "heels," or bad guys (including the Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, Big John Studd, Mr. Fuji, Bobby Heenan and the Fabulous Moolah), usually caused trouble. Intersperced between the cartoon segments were live-action comedy vignettes featuring the WWF cast. "Rock 'N' Wrestling" was among the WWF programs which helped the Vince McMahon-run promotion establish professional wrestling as "sports entertainment." Written by Brian Rathjen
