I'm not really sure how this ties in, if at all, with Evil Dead Trap, but from what I remember when I watched that this is a whole other entity unto itself and has nothing to do with the first one. Aki and Emi have known each other from high school and they have a strange relationship, not really a friendship but apparently Emi hangs out with Aki (who is rather plus-size) to feel better about herself? And Aki feels better about herself by slicing up prostitutes and things like that. There's something also about some kind of fake spiritualist who tells Aki her karma is bad, yeah, no kidding. Aki is a projectionist at a movie theater, and wanders around looking blank in hideous clothes when she's not busy serial killing. There's also something about a married man that Emi is involved with (in fact she's pregnant by him) and he also comes on rather strongly to Aki too. And this man's wife is rather odd too and there's something about a small child that either doesn't belong to them or he came back from the dead? Yes, all this sounds pretty confusing, doesn't it? And it is. Not that there aren't some good visuals to this and a heaping helping of gore to go with it, so that saves it a bit, but the main feeling one will probably get after watching this is "What the heck was that all about?". Not terrible but not that good either, unfortunately. But definitely weird. 7 out of 10.
