Storyline

On the last leg of of a train ride from Moscow to Manchuria during the early years of World War Two, one of the passengers suddenly disappears. All of the other passengers, including military personnel and civilians from both the Axis powers and Allied nations, have reasons to be suspected. As the remaining passengers investigate, more murders are committed, until at last the political and personal motives of the killer (killers?) are unravelled. Are you really a film critic?
15 November 2005 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Mike Mizuno: Haruo Mizuno is a pretty famous film critic in Japan. So I expected how he directed to his film with using his film knowledge. However this film is awful though famous actress and famous translator joined it. (Mr.Mizuno is famous, so he has many friends in film field)I really wanna ask him what he has studied about "film". It is because, he didn't consider plot, frame, camera axis. How can Mr.Yamashita solve the accidents just sits down on seat in the train? Moreover some of the actors look absolutely Japanese though they speak in English in the film. In this film is famous as "cult" film in Japan. (Most of this film fan like seriousness of Mike Mizuno in this film though film itself sucks)
