Oscar’s Hotel For Fantastical Creature Released This Week

A new film series by British film maker and YouTube talent KickthePJ is set to debut on the Vimeo on demand service this week. Oscar’s Hotel For Fantastical Creatures is a collaboration between KickthePJ, real name Pj Liguori, Hollywood Director Ron Howard’s New Form Digital company, and Jim Henson’s Creature Shop™.

Focussing on a young man named Oliver, the shows introduces us to a cast of surreal and psychedelic creatures, as Oliver embarks on temporary management of his Uncle’s mystical and truly peculiar hotel. With contributions from a myriad of well known and established performers such as the legendary Patrick Stewart, Alfred Molina, and Elliott Gould, the film series is a culmination of months of hard word and pretty off the wall brainstorming.

A marvellous cross between The Mighty Boosh and Guest House Paradiso, Oscar’s Hotel For Fantastical Creatures is a trippy, highly entertaining new age comedy, »

The British Academy Film Awards has explained why Bob Hoskins was not included during the annual ceremony's tributes section last night (February 8).

Fans voiced their anger when Hoskins and Rik Mayall were not featured in the In Memoriam video montage.

BAFTA stated that individuals are only featured in televised obituaries once, and Hoskins had already received a tribute at last year's Television Awards.

BAFTAs 2015: Rik Mayall, Bob Hoskins snub in tribute angers fans

The British Academy Film Awards' decision not to include comedian Rik Mayall and award-winning actor Bob Hoskins in its 'In Memoriam' segment has proved controversial on social media.

Robin Williams, Lauren Bacall and Lord Richard Attenborough were among the celebrities whose lives were memorialized, but Mayall and Hoskins were left out of a tribute montage.

Boyhood, Theory of Everything lead winners at BAFTA Film Awards 2015

Hoskins won the Best Actor BAFTA Award for his performance in Mona Lisa, and also appeared in The Long Good Friday, Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Snow White and the Huntsman prior to his death last April.

Mayall was perhaps best known for his television work in The Young Ones and Blackadder, but he also starred in the films Guest House Paradiso and Drop Dead Fred.

Mayall's sudden passing shocked the entertainment world last June.
