The Story of the Dancing Frog is very short, but it is a lovely, touching short film all the same. The animation, like with Abel's Island, is simple yet very effective in the characters, backgrounds and colours. The music is very nice as well, while the story is consistently engaging and the writing is thoughtful and poignant. I loved the characters too, especially Gertrude who you do really empathise with, and while slightly unorthodox perhaps the relationship between George and Gertrude packs an emotional punch. And I loved the closing sequence, which was so beautiful, and the voice work is very sensitive and beautifully judged. Overall, very nicely done and well recommended. 9/10 Bethany Cox
