Storyline

In a movie loaded with religious symbology, Ali, a hardened criminal, is sentenced to jail for murder. Shortly afterwards, his girlfriend gives birth to his child. When Ali is released he is determined to leave his criminal past and make a better life for himself and his family. But leaving his past behind does not turn out to be easy... A classic story of a boy and girl in distress struggling

Even though some aspects of this movie are somewhat exaggerated in the "bad" suburbs of Helsinki the story is nevertheless powerful, believable and the actors are convincing. The first part of the movie features the events shaping the players. The second part features the players trying to shape the events.
