Without a doubt the worst ninja film I've ever seen
20 April 2000 | by (Florida) – See all my reviews

I stumbled upon this atrocious film one night while browsing through all the crap at my local video store. When I saw the snappy artwork for Ninja Death Squad I figured I'd give it a shot. I guess I'm a sucker for the old cool artwork = cool film. Of course, this was definitely not the case.

The first thing that struck me was the dubbing. Now I'd consider myself pretty hardened towards foreign films, and their dubbing but this was truly awful. Think about what the worst dubbed film is that you have ever seen, and then times it by about ten. Seriously.

Then there was the poorly choreographed fight scenes and the 'special' effects. It was all done in a very cartoonish way reminiscent of an old Power Rangers episode. Come to think of it, the movie might have actually been rated PG-13. Another thing that I found hilarious were the sound effects. I kept hearing something straight out of Super Mario Bros. everytime the enemy ninjas would clash swords together or disappear (poorly) into think air.

Again, I only rented it on account of the super cool boxart. A terrible waste of time movie, only recommend to children under the age of 3.
