Real time capsule here!
Richard Lowenstein directed this little gem that was to capture the essence of late eighties rock in Australia. In no way following in the footsteps of A HARD DAYS NIGHT this semi-doco followed merely the frenetic action of several of the top Oz bands of the moment.
Among them, Jimmy Barnes and Cold Chisel, the late Michael Hutchence and INXS, The Divinyls, Saints, I'm Talking and The Models. Perhaps not all the greatest bands that ever strode a stage, but good old fashioned Aussie value-for-money rockers.
Really worth a look if you ever get the chance.
