I remember this well, had it on VHS at one point, recorded the lot. If I remember rightly it was broadcast over 4 nights just after Christmas in 1989. Each night had one or 2 documentaries about heavy metal.

I think they were:

- Arena documentary about heavy metal

- Thrashed to Death - documentary with live clips of Slayer and Napalm Death

- Rock of Ages: The Def Leppard Story

- Metallica live in Hammersmith Odeon with an interview with Lars in a pub

I think that was it but there may have been more.
