He then goes into quarantine on a northwestern island to govern the country from a safe zone. But when a terrorist storms the island in a jumbo jet full of children, it's up to the President to somehow stop the spread of the plague before it's too late. Written by

This film is absolutely appalling! It is so cheesy that it's almost impossible to turn over. ~I~ could provide better security than the Secret Service are depicted with. ~I~ could provide been biological analysis than the CDC are depicted with.
I admit I may not be the #1 fan of the US, but even I am offended at how incompetently and unrealistically everyone is portrayed as being.
The science is shot to hell, the reality is shot to hell. The guys who wrote this script have not a single clue -- do they even live in this reality? *GRIN*
All that said, if you enjoy 1980s-style, unrealistic, paranoid, badly-made, badly-acted B-movies, you will watch this and giggle at how much one may gather by scraping the bottom of the barrel. New depths in storytelling are plumbed in every minute. More clichés than you can shake a stick at, effects undeserving of the sobriquet "special", acting so bad that you know babies better at it and more cheese than France, Holland, Switzerland and the whole of Scandinavia.
If you want a good story, well told, look elsewhere. If you have nothing better to do than watch a film where everyone involved in it should never be employed again, then sit back and enjoy!
