There is NO Sex or Nudity in this movie

Two monsters kiss each other on many occasions.

There are scenes of violence in the film, but note that it is a childrens' film, so it is comical.

Many fight scenes that may need parental guidance for very young children.

A monster's voice is extracted to the point to his whole face turns white. May disturb some.

No swearing but some words such as "stupid", "shut up", "idiot", etc.

Various unspecified drinks are served in Harryhausen's Restaurant.

There are quite a few frightening scenes, nothing too bad.

Boo is strapped into a chair and a "scream extraction" machine approaches her face while she screams and wriggles.

A boy is shown falling asleep in a darkened room, the closet door creaks and opens and the boy imagines that a shirt is a monster; then a pair of large eyes open under his bed and a big-toothed monster comes out causing the boy to scream, which then causes the monster to scream and fall back onto on the floor (see violence/gore), it is then revealed to be just a simulation.

Sully does a really big, scary growl for a demonstration and frightens Boo who runs away in tears (we see images of his face later, with teeth and claws bared).

Sully thinks Boo has been smashed in a compactor and he faints from despair.

Monsters prepare to go scaring; they put on their sharp teeth, test their claws, growl, put on more eyes and then go through doors, and we hear children screaming.

Boo is sent back through her door at the end of the movie and Sully leaves, then Boo opens her closet only to see clothes. In the monster's place, her door is destroyed.

The idea of monsters may scare very young viewers.

A monster's voice is extracted to the point to his whole face turns white. May disturb some
