Play It to the Bone (1999)
Vince Boudreau: If a man builds a thousand bridges and sucks one dick, they don't call him a bridge-builder... they call him a cocksucker.
Vince Boudreau: You don't have to hate a man to completely destroy him.
Grace Pasic: I love church music...
Vince Boudreau: Church music? It's too good for the church. JESUS was too good for the church, ya' ask me. You know, he shook things up. He was, uh, he was an ANARCHIST, ya' know? He, uh, he threw the money lenders outta' the temple. First thing he's gonna' do when he comes back is torch the Vatican!
Grace Pasic: Vince, come on!
Cesar's Garden Trainer: [Talking to Cesar right before his big fight in Madison Square Garden against Velario] Cesar, listen up. These next 36 minutes is gonna' change the rest of your life. If you've ever listened, you'll listen now. You understand that? We've prepared for this. This guy is older than you. He's not as young as you. He can't stay twelve rounds. But one thing he CAN do is he can think. And he can set you up...
Cesar Dominguez: I thought we were not supposed to get laid for a couple of weeks before a fight.
Vince Boudreau: Says who?
Cesar Dominguez: Everybody knows that. You know, it's an energy thing...
Vince Boudreau: All the great ones got laid before they fought! I mean, the more the better, man.
Cesar Dominguez: You never told me that!
Vince Boudreau: Yeah, well, I thought you knew, man. The words go together: Champion and pussy. Champion, pussy. Just think about it. It's a natural.
Cesar Dominguez: [Starting to laugh] Oh, Jesus Christ!
Hank Goody: Who's my date for the fight tonight, Rudy? I can't keep track of these things.
Rudy: Your wife.
Hank Goody: [Looks slightly confused] My wife?
Rudy: Yeah. You know, there's a lot of cameras there tonight. I figured your wife would be a good call.
Hank Goody: [Gives it some thought] My wife... You're right. Good call.
Grace Pasic: [Working on the engine of her Oldsmobile Cutlass] Who would have thought that the Oldsmobile would come up with a muscle car?
Grace Pasic: [revs the engine] Listen to this.
Cesar Dominguez: That's beautiful!
Grace Pasic: I don't trust a quiet car.
Grace Pasic: Cesar, it was a nice three months together.
Cesar Dominguez: Six. It was six months, honey.
Grace Pasic: But only three were nice.
Cesar Dominguez: Grace, who do you think won the fight? Vince, or me?
Grace Pasic: I think it was a fair decision.
