Doctor Who Cast Comes Together For New Christmas Special Photos

The wait until the Doctor Who Christmas special is about to get a little easier.

Next Friday will bring with it the first clip from the much-anticipated episode, titled “Twice Upon a Time,” as the sci-fi show joins in with the Children In Need charity campaign. Ahead of the celebrations next week, though, we now have these festive cast photos.

Taken in the Tardis, the images show Peter Capaldi, David Bradley and Pearl Mackie posing with Pudsey the bear, the Children in Need’s mascot. One pic even sees the trio together, grinning and donning Christmas hats. Well, Bradley and Mackie are wearing them. Presumably, the hat wouldn’t fit over Capaldi’s bouffant hair.

It Director Planning On Making It Part 2 Before Robotech

Andy Muschetti is a director in demand! Next Friday, his next film, the highly anticipated adaptation of Stephen King’s It, hits theaters. After that, Muschetti has Robotech and It Part 2 on his docket.

Though the film has not been marketed this way, It was always developed to be two parts, as King’s original novel deals first with the protagonists as children and later with them as adults. Likely, WB was waiting to gauge the success of this year’s It before moving forward with the sequel, but due to early positive critical reactions, high audience anticipation, and great box office projections, it looks like It is going to be a record-breaking hit for September. So, now that It Part 2 is officially in the works, what comes first, that film of Robotech?

Muschetti told Bad Taste that he will not do Robotech until the second part of It is complete.

Ice Cube confirms Last Friday is in the works

Appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Ice Cube has revealed that development is underway on a fourth instalment of the Friday series, and while it doesn’t have a release date yet, there is a title:

““We’re working on one right now,” said the rapper turned actor and writer. “We’re gonna call it Last Friday.”

Ice Cube didn’t have any other details to offer, but one would assume that he will be starring in the film and writing the screenplay, as he has done with the previous three instalments.

We’ll also presumably see the return of several franchise veterans such as John Witherspoon (Willie Jones) and Mike Epps (Day-Day), although it remains to be seen whether Chris Tucker could be tempted back to the series for the first time since the original.

The first Friday was released back in 1995, and was followed by

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil keeps its date with 28th October, set to be Biggest Romantic Musical of 2016

Early this morning at 3:31 Am, Karan Johar tweeted ‘#AeDilHaiMushkil 28th October!!!!!! This Diwali!!! Next Friday!!!!!!’

Well, that’s a clear indication of things to come. The Big Date is round the corner. Perhaps it is even bigger than 16th October 1998 when Karan Johar made a huge splash with his Shahrukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji starrer Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Now that he has Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma at his disposal, the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil becomes all the more important.

“First and foremost you tell me which filmmaker has actually managed to make a credible romantic musical this year,” questions an ardent filmgoer, “None of the big hits actually belong to this genre. Look at the Top-5 grossers of the year so far – Sultan, M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story, Airlift, Rustom and Housefull 3. They have action, drama and comedy as the key pillars.

Don't Breathe Beats Suicide Squad at the Box Office with $26M

Don't Breathe Beats Suicide Squad at the Box Office with $26M
Going into the weekend, the Fede Alvarez directed thriller Don't Breathe was getting great word of mouth. And horror fans certainly stood up and took notice. The new movie earned an estimated $26.1 million during its box office debut, pushing this late August frame to a combined $100 million. The top 12 over-performed, with this three day stretch up a full 43.5% over the same time last year.

Mechanic: Resurrection, a sequel to Jason Statham's 2011 remake, also had a solid opening for Lionsgate, while the limited release Southside With You, which tracks Michelle and Barack Obama's first date, did quite well. The critical favorite Hell or High Water performed better than expected in its expanded rollout, while Bad Moms continues to rack up big bucks for an R-Rated comedy. It has almost topped $100 million at the domestic box office.

Don't Breathe was the top winner, though, and it far exceeded expectations. The

Banshee Season 4 Episode 2 Review – ‘The Burden of Beauty’

Kris Wall reviews the second episode of Banshee season 4…

Full Spoilers for The Burden of Beauty ahead…

If there’s one thing that Banshee has become exceptionally good at, it’s defying viewer expectations. Just when you think you have this show figured out, it suddenly (and often violently) pulls the rug out from under you as it streaks off in a completely different, but no less thrilling, direction entirely. Banshee does not play by your rules, Banshee doesn’t really care for your rules either.

The Burden of Beauty opened on another flashback as Rebecca staggered into hospital, beaten and bloody before collapsing to the floor. Definitely a startling sight to grip attention right from the off, and something that has eased my concerns about the two year time jump that I had in last weeks episode, as it’s now clear the writers are going to be filling
