One night in Berlin approaching the year 2000 - a portrayal of the city's youth experiencing the excesses of the Berlin nightlife. Driven by a shared need to escape the monotony of their daily lives, Lutz, Nana, Luise and Dick Tracey are drawn into a nightclub. Inside, their day-to-day sorrows are drowned in the decadence of this artificial world. Dick Tracey, a TV-host, gets caught up in the constant search for sensations. Did You Know?
The club scenes were shot in Oct. 1999 in the Sage Club in Berlin. After additional shoots and an extended post-production period the film finally received its international premiere on the 4th Sept. 2005 during the 62nd Venice International Film Festival. See more
