L.A. 1997: a bank employee, whose main interest in life is to collect stars' clothes, has made 2 millions dollars out his clients saving accounts, then transferring the money offshore. But, suddenly, a beautiful girl moves in the apartment just in front of him. She's the girlfriend of a strange psychopathic guy who goes around robbing the liquor stores......Or so it seems. Strange, deranged movie: nothing goes as you might expect. It reminded me the mood I got watching some Coen brothers films. Good performance by the blonde and the clothes pusher. Worth see it.

Some points for originality.
Hermit C-27 July 1999
Silas Cooper plays a banker who has been quietly pulling off a white-collar crime for several years to finance his passion, collecting original costumes from famous movies. He gets interested in a pretty young girl he spies on in the apartment across the way. (She's played by Jennifer Starr, good as this film's femme fatale.) Trouble is, getting involved with her means getting involved with her boyfriend (Rupert Green), a menacing thug who pulls stick-ups and burglaries around town with impunity.
At the least this movie is not ordinary or predictable. Weighing the good with the bad, this one came out about average, but I felt it was worth 90 minutes of my time.
