This show is a spoof on after school specials and one of the most important lessons to learn is to not take candy from strangers. Thus the title.

Chuck and Geoffrey are two teachers at Flatpoint High. Chuck has a wife and kid, while Geoffrey is a "confirmed bachelor". They have a secret affair that is made quite obvious a lot of the time, but no one knows about it.

Season one Jerri is a freshman, but fails the year. She repeats freshman year in Season Two. It seems that Season Two and Season Three take place in the same school year, since there is never any indication otherwise and in the first episode of Season Three, Jerri tells the store clerk that she is a freshman.

Jerri is bi-sexual. In many episodes she is seen hitting on both girls and boys.

No, Jerri's mother died when Jerri ran away 32 years ago. Sara is Jerri's step-mother and Derrick Blank is her half-brother. However, we discover in season 3 that Jerrie's acctual real mother is an Indian woman who gave her up for adoption and the mother Jerri had before she ran away 32 years ago is acctually her adoptive mom.
