How the worst of the human beings appears during hard times., 21 July 2003
Author: Gabriel Azevedo (gabrielazevedo@cable.net.co) from Bogotá, Colombia, South America

The feature film tell us the grim story of the French actor Robert Hughes-Lambert during the Second World War in Paris. It is sad to contemplate how he was selected by the Nazi followers for the roll of pilot hero Jean Mermoz (1901-36) taking into consideration only his pseudo-Aryan physical characteristics. The deformation of Mermoz life by the official censorship and the inhuman treatment that Lambert received for all the people around him, made me sick. I CONCLUDED THAT THE WORST OF THE HUMAN BEINGS APPEAR DURING HARD TIMES.
