Storyline

In 1978 Samuel Fuller made his big war epic The Big Red One in Israel. Thys Ockersen paid a visit and talked with him and the cast.Later he made a longer interview with the director in his shag in the Hollywood Hills. This documentary shows rare footage of Fuller directing his actors and battles. He was the only one who covered The Big Red One.The doc. is not included in the 2005 DVD restoration of the war Pict. Written by Thys Ockersen
