Since Gene Wood was busy doing Classic Concentration (1987), a sister show that was also produced by Goodson, and for the 1st 4 weeks, Mark Driscoll was its announcer, but Mark Goodson had hired Don Morrow, beginning with the 5th week, replacing Driscoll. Morrow previously announced Sale of the Century (1983).
The second-to-last show ever to debut on CBS.
The buzz-in would later be carried over to both Non-Goodson shows: The Joker's Wild (1972) and Masters of the Maze (1994).
The time's up buzzer was taken from Family Feud (1976), Child's Play (1982) and Classic Concentration (1987).
