An unconventional science teacher encourages her wheelchair-bound student in his dream to become an astronaut, so he can be free of the limitations of gravity--to "walk on air". But will his overprotective parents and skeptical NASA administrators permit him to go? Written by yortsnave
This is a very good 1 hour "After School Special", but I have one problem with it. It is obvious that the purpose of this movie is to inspire children with physical disabilities and to motivate them! This is good, however the movie goes too far! I believe that everyone has a purpose in life and we all have the ability to achieve, but the events that take place in this movie are too extreme! Although I really like this movie, and it brings tears to my eyes, it is fiction! If you want to see movies that will inspire you, based on fact and that are TRUE! >> Try "Miracle In Lane 2", "My Dog Skip" or "Mermaid".
Like I said, this is a good movie, but not a good motivational tool!
