Storyline

"Partners" is billed as a unique take on a cop drama. While most cop shows focus about 80 percent on the work life of cops and 20 percent on family, "Partners" reverses that. The family lives of cops can be volatile with high divorce rates and spouses and children who often live in fear.

A great cast, let's hope it builds into the show it has the potential to be.

What can you say? An actress like Piper Laurie, whose career has survived so long because she is so uniquely talented, and one of my other favourites, Bonnie Bedelia, in a show that, given time, could devleop into something great.

I only saw one episode of this, I just hope I have the opportunity to see more. If this ends up being just another one-season throwaway it will be a waste of a great chance to contribute to the too-small list of classic TV shows.

I suppose saying Piper Laurie chews scenery is a bit of an understatement. That old bird still rocks!
