I suppose it's a cheap shot to say this movie's a real crack-up but thankfully I'm not above cheap shots. Clueless & overweight Wade has a hideous problem, he doesn't wear a belt and his buttcrack always shows, especially when his roomie Brian has his fiancée over. Poor Wade is accidentally killed when a radio gets dropped in the bathtub with him and he comes back from the grave for his vengeance, thanks to his ultra-attractive sister who wears all black & practices voodoo. There's nothing more chilling than watching him waddling across the graveyard, with an overcast sky, and then seeing him hitch his droopy drawers up once again. Shudder.
Anyway, this is pretty fun, especially with the inclusion of Mojo Nixon as a country preacher, can you say amen? I guess it's a tad on the short side and not enough zombie stuff, but I suppose that beats overstaying its welcome like some films. All in all, if you're a Troma fan you'll like this. If you're a "Pirates of the Caribbean" fan though, you may wish to pass on this little gem. 6 out of 10 stars.
