Did You Know?

Bruce Willis agreeing to guest appear on Friends for free and because he lost a bet to Matthew Perry during filming is an urban legend. People Magazine Star Spotlight 2000 states, 'Willis agreed to a guest stint on 'Friends' simply because he and Perry thought it would be fun.' News outlets mistakenly reported on the rumor. Willis was in fact paid for the role, including syndication runs, but donated the money to The American Foundation for AIDS Research, AIDS Project Los Angeles, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the Rape Treatment Center, and UCLA Unicamp for underprivileged children. When Oz is cutting the grass in the scene where Jimmy is taking Oz with him, to go on a "sight seeing", you can see that the "lever" on the top of the handles on the lawn mower is not pushed in. This has to be pushed in for the grass cutters in the lawn mower to rotate. So he is not actually cutting the grass, just pushing the lawn mower around. See more »

Frankie Figs: No shit!
Jill St. Claire: So SHE'S the one!
Jimmy: She's the one what?
Jill St. Claire: The one he schtupped in Chicago!
Jimmy: The one he...

Crazy Credits

Leanna McOemmecon is listed in the credits as the stand in for Rosanna Arquette, when it should read Leanna McLennan. (I worked as a stand in for Rosanna Arquette while filming in Quebec. The correct spelling of my name is Leanna McLennan. Each day, my name would be spelled differently on the call sheet - McLean, etc. Each day, I would correct it. In the end, I am listed in the credits as Leanna McOemmecon, which I find quite amusing.) See more »

lots of laughs, surprises, and spirited performances

Perry is an unhappy dentist stuck in a dead marriage and burdened with financial problems; as if that isn't bad enough, he learns that his new neighbor is in fact an infamous contract killer with reprehensible mob ties. Against his better judgment, Perry decides to try and rat out the lowlife for his own personal gain, but soon gets in over his head. The film's humor is occasionally too silly for words, but the cast is good and full of enthusiasm—especially Peet—and the script throws out a lot of unexpected twists and turns at just the right moments. Surprising and very funny, with a perfect part for Willis who finds just the right tone for a gangster with heart. ***
