it's been years since i saw this film at the film forum. it was part of a double feature with another documentary called "metropolitan avenue." i recall enjoying both, but especially "i remember barbra".... mostly because of my being a barbra streisand fan since 1962. the film is unique in that streisand's image is never seen. instead, interviews with, and comments from, people who might have known or remembered her are edited together to present quite an amusing and interesting personality analysis of the diva. i would love to be a fly on the wall and be able to hear streisand's reaction to this film. it's really a wonderful, entertaining little film and i wish i could own a copy for my own use.
