Sara (Julianna Margulies) is about to marry a very nice gentleman named John (Ivan Sergei). A couple of hours before the big event, John learns a secret about his bride to be. Going a bit berserk, he takes off in his car to analyze the situation away from the families. Wedding guests arrive but the bridegroom can not be found. Will it be a jilting for Sara?
This funny little movie is especially entertaining when the spotlight is on the wedding guests or the bride's mother (Dixie Carter). Carter is perfection as a Texas mother bent on her daughter's wedding coming off without a hitch. When it doesn't, watching her reactions is a delight. The motley crew of guests provide much mirth, also. Margulies looks beautiful and Sergei handles his role as the mixed-up groom with ease. For those looking for another film with romantic fun, this might be worth locating at the video store or library.
