Did You Know?

When Capcom was producing this game, there were several names considered for the main character. Knuckles Kid was one suggestion, as was Rainbow Man (because the main character changed colors whenever he used a different weapon). They finally went with the name Rockman, which was changed to Mega Man when the game was released in the United States and Europe. See more »

User Reviews

Games will never top this... ever.

Mega Man was one of the Nintendo games I grew up. This will remain as one of my favorites. Despite the fact that it was an 8-bit game, the graphics, gameplay, and sound\music were much better than most Nintendo games of that time. I especially love the "de-dit" sound that Mega Man makes every time he lands on the ground!
