Former Crimewatch presenter says he had to cancel his wedding and has put his home on the market because of accident in pre-show training

Former Crimewatch presenter Rav Wilding is suing the production company behind ITV’s Splash!, saying an injury he suffered while training for the diving show has derailed his career.

The ex-Strictly Come Dancing contestant said he had to cancel his wedding and has now put his home on the market because of the accident, which occurred in pre-show training in 2013.

Radio 2 presenter to take over from Kirsty Young alongside Radio 1’s Tina Daheley

Jeremy Vine is to follow up his star turn on Strictly Come Dancing with a very different role on our TV screens as the next presenter of a revamped Crimewatch featuring broadcasts from the scene of crimes and regular online updates on cases.

Vine, who has hosted his own Radio 2 lunchtime show since 2003, will be joined by Radio 1 journalist Tina Daheley.

BBC’s Peter Salmon Joins Endemol Shine as Chief Creative Officer

London — Peter Salmon, the director of the BBC’s inhouse production unit BBC Studios, is leaving to become chief creative officer at TV production-distribution giant Endemol Shine Group, which is co-owned by 21st Century Fox and Apollo Global Management.

Endemol Shine also announced Tuesday that Emma Moloney, formerly general counsel at News Corp’s newspaper group News UK, will become its general counsel, leading the legal affairs team as well as overseeing the distribution business, working alongside Endemol Shine Intl. CEO Cathy Payne.

Salmon will lead the creative direction of the group’s worldwide network, which has 120 production companies in more than 30 markets and a portfolio of more than 600 titles across genres and platforms, produced in more than 50 languages. The slate includes “Big Brother,” “Black Mirror,” “Broadchurch,” “Deal or No Deal,” “Grantchester,” “Hell on Wheels,” “Humans,” “MasterChef,” “Peaky Blinders,” “The Biggest Loser,” “The Fall,” “The Tunnel,” “The Money Drop” and “Your Face Sounds Familiar. »
