Doctor Who: Destiny of the Doctors (Video Game 1997) Poster

Trivia

When this game was in the early planning stages, it was intended for Jon Pertwee to record new dialogue which would have been used at various points during it, as his fellow Doctors Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy would ultimately do. Pertwee's death in 1996 made this impossible but recordings of his voice taken from various Doctor Who (1963) serials were utilised for this purpose.

A popular rumor exists that Tom Baker hated working with Doctor Who in his later years, and did not do a serious project until 2011. In fact, Baker had requested a special in 1994, which would have been the infamous "Into the Dark Dimension," but instead turned into the further infamous "Dimensions in time." This story was the first to feature Baker out of the role in a serious-fashion.
