Step back in time for a never seen before look into the revolutionary movement that painted the wrestling industry black and white
Be a part of the revolution with this never seen before documentary, revealing the “too sweet” saga of the nWo. Hear from key members Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall and discover things you never knew about the hostile takeover of WCW.
It all began in the summer of 1996 when two prominent WWE Superstars Diesel (Nash) and Razor Ramon (Hall), began to appear uninvited on WCW Monday Nitro. ‘The Outsiders’ as they were known, would sit ringside, shrouding their intentions and motives in mystery. Many competitors in the WCW locker room and WCW fans believed WCW was being invaded by WWE, due to their status with them and a war between the rival companies was imminent.

With the recent news that WWE Studios and Warner Bros. are working on a new animated crossover between Scooby Doo and the stars of the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment – formally WWF), I thought I’d delve into the world of professional wrestling and movie crossovers.
This isn’t the first time WWE stars have appeared with movie characters. And I’m not talking about actors appearing on wrestling programs or wrestlers trying to act, I’m talking about WWE characters interacting with fictional movie and TV characters. Most recently, Harry, Curly and Moe appeared on Monday Night Raw to promote The Three Stooges movie (one of them said it was the most embarrassing thing he’d ever done). They came down did some wacky backstage skits before coming down to the ring where they were beaten up by Kane. It was about »
If you’re going to insist on playing with a Ouija board or holding a séance, you should at least have the common sense not to do it in a morgue of all places. Foolish mortals never learn. You’ll get to witness more fools learning this lesson on DVD this October when Lionsgate releases Séance: The Summoning.
After a loudmouth college punk singer accuses an amateur medium of being a fake, four college students break into the city morgue and video themselves holding a seance. When the kids summon a demon by mistake, they have to find a way to drive the demon out of their friend before it destroys them all.
Séance: The Summoning stars The Final Destination’s Bobby Campo, Nazneen Contractor of Season 8 of “24”, and former “Kyle Xy” co-star Chris Olivero. The film was written and directed by Alex Wright, who, according to IMDb, is »
Former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Diamond Dallas Page is expected to be tonight’s mystery “former Raw main eventer” making a comeback appearance.
Tonight’s WWE Raw SuperShow takes place from Laredo, Texas and the appearance was hyped/rumoured on DDPYoga Facebook today;
“I just talked to Ddp and he said that he was on his way to Texas but wouldn’t say why..”
We would guess he’ll be the latest former main eventer to put Heath Slater out of his misery in another squash match. If you know what’s good for you Heath don’t turn up tonight as you will almost certainly be getting the Diamond Cutter if you do!
After the recent returns of Vader (huge pop, biggest of the night), Rowdy Roddy Piper (great pop, though didn’t wrestle) and Psycho Sid (little reaction), I imagine Ddp will probably eclipse all of the above. »

This weekend I find myself deep in the heart of Louisville, Ky for Fandomfest Louisville 2012. Part Comic-Con, part pop culture celebration, and part horror film festival, a few guests of note include Bruce Campbell, Sean Astin, Tyler Mane, and slasher icon Kane Hodder. While each of these attendees has a special place in my pop culture heart in one way or another, my mission today is to track down former WCW star Diamond Dallas Page. 10 year-old me loved nothing more than watching Ddp and co. weekly on WCW Monday Nitro, and today may be the only opportunity I get to share that joy with someone who was an integral part of it. All wrestling memories aside, awaiting you on the other side of this week's Top 5 is a brief recap and link to our Magic Mike interviews with Channing Tatum, Steven Soderbergh and more, the new international and domestic trailers for Rian Johnson's Looper, »

He returned to face Heath Slater, who really should stop bothering packing his trunks for Raw, who Sid defeated in a quick squash match and pinned him after his signature Powerbomb.
Psycho Sid, real name Sid Eudy, turns 52-years-old on July 4th, last left the WWE in June 1997, three months after he lost his WWE Title to The Undertaker at WrestleMania 13. At WWE King of the Ring 1997, Sid and the Legion of Doom were defeated by the Hart Foundation (Owen Hart, Jim Neidhart and The British Bulldog). On the next night on Raw, Sid made his last appearance on Raw by defeating Owen Hart.

Sting was announced last night as the first inductee into the newly formed “Tna Hall of Fame”.
His induction was announced at Tna’s 10 year celebration pay-per-view Tna Slammiversary last night.
Tna President Dixie Carter said;
“In honor of that, we felt it was time to begin recognizing the contributions of those who have made the greatest impact on our success.”
Sting has won the Tna World Heavyweight Title on four occasions and the Nwa World Heavyweight Championship once. He is obviously a huge legend in wrestling overall and in Tna Wrestling and becoming the first wrestler to be inducted into the Tna Hall of Fame is smart as he is a name that WWE won’t be interested in using in »

Cm Punk proves that he is the best in the world when it comes to selling, Sheamus and Dolph Ziggler have a cracking non title match on Smackdown and the Raw Rating suffers without the presence of John Cena. Here is a look at the best and some of the worse stuff from the past week of WWE programming.
Wrestler of the week: Cm Punk
The long standing wwe champion was announced on Raw as the cover boy for the WWE 13 videogame on Raw and justified the decision with two solid in ring performances over the past week. The match with Daniel Bryan on Raw was not a patch on their classic from Over the Limit and used more as an angle to escalate tension with Kane and develop the relationship between Punk and Aj. It still however featured some excellent exchanges from two men who have superb chemistry and »

Sheamus continues to shine as a worker, Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro steal the show on Superstars and Kane is still able to wrestle after receiving twenty six chair shots prior to a match-up. Here is a look at the best and some of the worse stuff from the past week in the WWE.
Wrestler of the week: Sheamus
The Irishman coming to the aid of John Cena at the start of Raw brought some much needed energy to a dire segment involving John Laurinaitis, Eve and the Big Show and helped to wash away the taste of yet another horrendous verbal performance from Cena. Later in the night, when partnering with the poster boy, the world heavyweight champion had some great powerhouse exchanges with Tensai, some brilliantly heroic brawling on the outside with the lumberjacks and solid back and forths with both Ziggler and Swagger who he also had »

Wrestler Scott Hall was arrested on Friday, April 6 after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend. The former WWE star, who was known as Razor Ramon, The Diamond Studd, Starship Coyote, and Texas Scott during his time in the league, is 6'7" tall and weighs close to 300 pounds. He was arrested at 5 p.m. when officers were called to his home to address a domestic disturbance.
According to TMZ, Hall's girlfriend Lisa Howell told cops he had been "drinking for days" and they'd had an argument. When she tried to leave, he followed her to her car, grabbed her by the throat, and tried to pull her out of the driver's seat. She had red marks around her neck and other signs of physical injury.
Officers report that Hall was heavily intoxicated and literally foaming at the mouth when they arrived -- with an "unknown white secretion flowing from both sides of his mouth. »
WWE will release ‘The Very Best of WCW Clash of the Champions’ on DVD later this year. Amazon.com are already taking pre-orders on the set which will be released May 22nd, 2012 and has a running time of 540 minutes (9 hours).
The DVD will focus on the Clash of the Champions specials that were aired by WCW between 1988 and 1997, before pay-per-views and the Monday Night Wars began to dominate the landscape. The specials would feature supercards that would mirror pay-per-view caliber matches, and would feature pivotal feuds and dream bouts. It was similar to the World Wrestling Federation’s Saturday Night’s Main Event and is well worthy of its own DVD set.
After strong sales for The Very Best of WCW Monday Nitro DVD box set last year, WWE have been looking to release more home videos based on their WCW back catalogue. Rumours have it that later this year »

Next week, The Asulum unleashes 2 Headed Shark Attack into the waters on DVD and Blu-ray, either signaling the apocalypse, or just the release of another low budget post-jaws quickie vying for our wallets. Brooke Hogan on the business end of the beast in this latest entry in a never ending salt water cycle that seems a natural evolutionary step after Shartopus, Mega Shark, Swamp Shark, Supershark, Dino Shark, Sand Sharks, and Psycho Shark, all films made within the last five years.
Synopsis (courtesy The Asylum):
“Survivors escape to a deserted atoll after a Semester at Sea ship is sunk by a mutated two-headed shark. But when the atoll starts flooding, no one is safe from the double jaws of the monster.”
