Cliff Lok's European Vacation
6 August 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Cliff Lok has good kung fu and so did at least 100 other stunt men working for $10 a day in 1974. I like Cliff Lok but this movie certainly didn't make him any additional fans. The first problem was not enough fight scenes but actually more fight scenes would not have helped. When an Asian martial artist goes to Europe he has to fight European stunt men (or make up a story involving hordes of Asians in Europe). At the time there was not a non-Asian alive that could match even the most average Asian stunt man in a fight sequence. The result is the pathetic final fight in this movie. Lee Kwan is along for comic relief and that is his forte. After that all that is left is white girl boobs. They tried hard but it ends up like a home Super8 movie.
