I'd be at the checkout and not be able to look to my right where the magazine rack was »

The actor has signed up for the part of Dodger Savage's biological father Patrick Blake, who will make his first appearance on screen in a few weeks' time. While firm details of Patrick's first scenes have yet to be revealed, it's sure to be an emotional moment for Dodger as he comes face-to-face with his long-lost dad. Dodger's world was rocked in the summer when he learned that wheeler-dealer Dirk (David Kennedy) is not his real father. Langford on Soaps: John Partridge and Marc Elliot Quit "Eastenders"

Langford’S Picks And Pans

Neighbours

As I said last week, I’m really enjoying Neighbours these days. The fallout from the accident has continued to make for interesting soap. Now, I don’t know anything about epilepsy or its symptoms, so I can’t say if the show is being medically accurate about Andrew’s illness, but it’s dramatically compelling to watch.

I see a lot of comments about Andrew being ‘stupid’ for not taking Aidan’s advice and telling people about his situation, but his behavior makes perfect sense to me. Andrew has always been one to avoid problems. His father is repeatedly telling him he needs to be tough and he can’t even talk to Chris and his friends because they won’t have anything to do with him following the accident. Risking his health might be stupid, but it’s realistic.

What isn’t so realistic, »

First Poster for UK Horror Comedy Stalled

Currently in post-productions, Stalled is the latest entry into the UK horror comedy genre that British filmmakers often seem to have a handle on better than most. (Naturally, I point you towards Shaun of the Dead as a good starting point if you’re new to the genre.)

We’ve had the first poster for the film sent over, giving us a tease of its intriguing premise:

“It’s Christmas Eve and a soon to be shit-canned maintenance gopher (Dan Palmer) is changing light bulbs and cleaning toilets instead of drinking egg-nog and making out with drunk receptionists at the annual office party. Unfortunately for this forlorn floor-sweeper he chooses to use the Ladies’ Restroom the very second a Zombie Outbreak occurs! Will he bowl us over and flush away the undead or (like in his pre-apocalypse life) simply remain …’Stalled’?
