Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Some kissing between married couples. In a home video, someone mentions a "10,000 mile high club".

Despite a PG rating, an astronaut is shown being caught up in a violent cyclone, and then spun so fast that he is literally ripped apart, with the sounds of bones breaking.

A small meteor pierces a character's hand and blood is shown flowing out.

A rock slams into the faceplate of an astronaut's spacesuit. A small amount of blood can be seen briefly on the broken glass.

An astronaut leaves the spaceship and takes off his helmet. His face is immediately frozen in a scary pose. This scene may disturb some people.

Damn and hell are used a few times. Son of a bitch is said twice, bastard is used once. Somewhat strong for a PG movie.

Some people may find the cyclone sequence slightly frightening.

NOTE: Even though the movie is rated PG, small children should not view this movie. It is a hard PG, at the very least.

MPAA:
Rated PG for sci-fi violence and mild language
