Sick, twisted and politically incorrect, the animated series features the adventures of the Griffin family. Endearingly ignorant Peter and his stay-at-home wife Lois reside in Quahog, R.I., and have three kids. Meg, the eldest child, is a social outcast, and teenage Chris is awkward and clueless when it comes to the opposite sex. The youngest, Stewie, is a genius baby bent on killing his mother and destroying the world. In the early seasons in the opening credits, the pictures on the wall of Chris, Meg and Stewie, in the background, have blurred faces. Later on however, their faces appear normally. See more
Several times throughout the series, characters appear on game shows. But the versions of the game shows are outdated versions that no longer exist. For instance, the Griffins appeared on Family Feud, with its old set style and Richard Dawson hosting. Likewise, Peter appeared on Wheel of Fortune, which used its old "buy prizes after each round" format. See more
