Sick, twisted and politically incorrect, the animated series features the adventures of the Griffin family. Endearingly ignorant Peter and his stay-at-home wife Lois reside in Quahog, R.I., and have three kids. Meg, the eldest child, is a social outcast, and teenage Chris is awkward and clueless when it comes to the opposite sex. The youngest, Stewie, is a genius baby bent on killing his mother and destroying the world. The talking dog, Brian, keeps Stewie in check while sipping martinis and sorting through his own life issues. Written by

Did You Know?
On at least one occasion, Quagmire references a porno channel called "Skin-A-Max" (a parody of Cinemax). The name "Skin-A-Max" was first used by Seth Green in the first Austin Powers film, who, of course, plays Chris Griffin on this show. See more
The most frequent animation error seen in the show is the appearance of the eyebrows (and some cases the eyes). The eyebrows are known to disappear and/or reappear at times, or in rare cases even "duplicate", creating an extra pair of eyebrows (as seen on Lois' father when Peter meets him in "Death Lives"). Hey guys, you want to come to my son's first birthday party?
[They all drink a toast to Peter's idea with a poison-laced punch, then all collapse simultaneously
I guess that's just more people who would rather fake their own deaths than go to a party with you, Meg.
In the season 5 episode "Stewie Loves Lois," the end credits are rearranged to mimic the end credits of "All In The Family," complete with the show's closing theme song. See more
